Editorial Standards

The rules every page on FortuneSweep is written and maintained under.

Primary Sources

Every material claim traceable to operator documents or official records

Commercial Separation

Commercially funded, editorially controlled — and labeled as such

Responsible Play

18+ audience, responsible gaming resources, no misleading claims about winning

The Primary-Source Rule

Every material claim we publish must be traceable to a primary source: the operator's published sweepstakes rules, terms of service, or official website; state legal sources and official records; or named, reputable industry reporting.

Our source hierarchy is fixed: operator official documents first, then official and government records, then reputable industry reporting. Material facts need two independent confirmations. What we cannot verify, we mark as unverified or leave out — we never fill gaps with plausible-sounding numbers.

Authorship

All content is published under the collective byline FortuneSweep Editorial Team. Research, writing, and fact-checking are shared work, and the byline reflects that honestly.

As a matter of stated policy: we do not use fictional personas, invented author names, fake credentials, or stock-photo profile pictures. Learn more about the team on our Editorial Team page.

Commercial Separation

Commercially funded, editorially controlled. Affiliate commissions fund this site. Featured and partner placements exist, they are part of how we earn money, and we label partner links rather than hiding them.

What is never for sale: factual content and scores. Bonus figures, redemption terms, state availability, and our assessment of an operator are never altered in exchange for payment. How placement and money interact is spelled out in our Affiliate Disclosure and How We Rank.

Responsible Play

  • This site is for readers aged 18 and older
  • Responsible gaming resources are linked on every relevant page — see our Responsible Gaming page
  • We make no misleading claims about winning — sweepstakes play is entertainment, never income, and no purchase is ever necessary to play

When We Get It Wrong

Errors happen, and we fix them in the open. Our Corrections Policy covers how to report an error, how fast we respond, and when a correction gets a dated note on the page.
